
1. Is there a Homeowner’s Association? Yes. The HOA dues are $250 annually and cover the costs of the seasonal landscaping of the entrance and the general maintenance for the communities common areas, which include: the median, playground and pavilion area, fishing pier, walking track and the 12 +/- acre lake. The HOA was implemented to protect and maintain the integrity and natural beauty of the community for all the residents to enjoy.
2. How many homes are planned for the community? There are 400 homes proposed for the community. The homes vary in size and range from $200K - $500K in price giving The Cove at Lake Forest a competitive advantage by accommodating all stages of life.
3. Are there plans for a pool? There are no plans for a community pool. The Cove at Lake Forest was designed with nature and it’s preservation in mind. LF features a 12+/- acre lake, a fishing pier, walking track and 33+/- acre greenbelt. Many of the home sites are large enough to accommodate personal pools that the homeowners may put in their own discretion.
4. What about conveniences like shopping and dining? How close are they? In the past few years the city of Alabaster has grown tremendously. 5. What school is LF zoned for? Creek View Elementary. CVES is part of one of the fastest growing school systems in the state of Alabama and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). CVES is also located just over Hwy 11 with direct access from the rear entrance of the community.
